European Projects & Shared Learning

The Food Hub works with European partners to develop skills, share practical knowledge and support innovation in food, hospitality and rural enterprise. Through Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships, we connect the needs of our local businesses and learners with expertise across Europe.  Our Erasmus+ experience dates back to 2015 through Developing Healthy and Creative Food Regions, which connected sustainable food practices with regional development. Further collaborations include SUSTAIN, exploring artificial intelligence in economic development, and EcoSmart Hospitality, supporting sustainability skills in hospitality.

In 2025, our European cooperation expanded with Dot RURAL and Data4Rural. These projects build on our experience in rural enterprise, tourism and digital skills, supporting digital innovation and the use of data in rural tourism.

We contribute practical experience, education partnerships and connections with food and tourism businesses. These relationships help partners understand local needs, develop relevant learning resources and test ideas within a working rural enterprise community.
