FUSE is a Social Innovation Initiative designed to bridge the gap between regional labour shortages and long-term unemployment. By integrating the Shared Kitchen Incubator model with a proven subsidised jobs framework, we are creating transformative pathways to stable employment across Ireland, Italy, Slovakia, and Spain.
Our mission focuses on three key pillars of impact:
- Employment and Skill Development: We provide practical culinary training to equip participants with the expertise and confidence needed to secure high-demand roles in the food industry.
- Capacity Building: We strengthen local ecosystems by aligning training programs with the specific needs of businesses and employment agencies in Roscommon, Leitrim, Lombardy, Nitra, and Gipuzkoa.
- Economic and Social Impact: We are directly addressing workforce gaps through 120 subsidized work placements and the upskilling of 600 individuals in critical, in-demand areas.
Through this collaborative approach, FUSE is building a resilient, sustainable workforce for the future of the food sector.
